Designed for conversation and exhibited at the Salon d’Automne in Paris in 1929 as the archetype of the modern concept of furnishings, interpreted by its authors as “household equipment” This iconic piece of modernist furniture, often called a 'Cushion Basket' It features four plush, independent cushions housed within a visible steel tube frame, offering a low-profile, wide, and comfortable lounge seat that reverses traditional upholstery methods

This Model is a rare example of an LC3 chair upholstered in wool upholstery with cream  colored powder coated stainless steel. This version was never sold in the US.
