This is made up of vintage Turkish rugs, cut into pieces, re-dyed in vibrant, modern colors, and then sewn back together. Artisans take faded or worn hand-knotted rugs, bleach them to neutralize color, and then apply rich new vegetable dyes, resulting in a low-pile, textured piece with original patterns subtly showing through.
This is backed with heavy tie-dyed cotton
